Betting Exchanges explained?

Live Shows or Board Prices are available approximately 15 minutes prior to the off-time of each UK horse race and dog race and they reflect the betting market from the racetrack.

Live shows / Board prices are effectively fixed odds bets. For instance you will see the fixed odds price changing in the run-up to the off of the race. You can choose to take the odds that are offered on your selection. In that case the price at the time of your bet is the price you get on that horse. You still have the option of choosing to bet on a horse at SP (Starting Price) if you prefer and in that case you will be paid out at the SP betting odds.
