A Tricast is the same as a Straight Forecast except you are choosing the first three horses home in the correct order. In UK horseracing tricast betting is only available in handicaps of eight runners or more and is available on most dog races. The official return is the official industry Tricast returned dividend. What is a combination tricast? A combination tricast is all possible Tricast options available for your chosen selections. For example: If you choose three horses/dogs from the same race then all possible tricast options (the combination tricast) will be six. In this case all possible Tricast combinations are covered and you will win if your three selections come 1st and 2nd and 3rd in any order. That is because one of your six possible tricasts has won. To cover that possibility you are placing 6 Tricast bets. |
